2026 Woodstock Folk Festival

The 2026 Woodstock Folk Festival — our 41st Annual Woodstock Folk Festival — will be held on Sunday, July 19, from Noon to 6 p.m. on the historic Square in Woodstock, Illinois.  

The Festival focuses on duos (but not exclusively), tributes Phil Ochs on the 50th anniversary of his passing, and recognizes America250.  

Magpie (Terry Leonino and Greg Artzner) will receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition to Magpie, performers include Ashley & Simpson, Friction Farm, Tish Hinojosa, Nathans & RonstadtPatty & Craig accompanied by Marc Edelstein, and Zachary Stevenson.  

And there’s more coming! As always, the day features a variety of music styles including traditional and contemporary folk music, Americana, singer-songwriter, country, blues, and Latin music.

Spring Benefit Concert … for the 2026 Woodstock Folk Festival

The Festival’s Annual Spring Benefit Concert will be held on Sunday afternoon, April 26, from 2-4 p.m. at Stage Left Cafe, next to the Woodstock Opera House on the Square.  

The concert celebrates the Centennial of historic Route 66, which begins in Illinois and ends in Santa Monica, California.
