About

WOODSTOCK FOLK FESTIVAL, INC. (WFF) is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Woodstock, Illinois, 47 miles northwest of Chicago. Its purpose is to bring quality folk music – local, national, and international – to Northern Illinois.

To this end WFF sponsors a day-long summer Festival on historic Woodstock Square on the third Sunday of July each year as well as some concerts. Woodstock is one of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Distinctive Destinations; it was the film location for the movie Groundhog Day.

We are an Illinois 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization. As such all donations are tax-deductible, and are welcome throughout the year. Please visit our Donations page for more information about contributions.
